Fascism was the most aggressive and barbaric form of capital. However, it was confronted by a nation united under the iron discipline of the Party: workers rushing from factories to the frontlines, and peasants trading their plows for tanks. From the Siege of Leningrad to the unbreakable defense of Stalingrad, the Soviet Union proved the superiority of socialism over capitalist barbarism on every inch of its soil. This victory is, above all, a victory of the collective will to live.
The Savior of Humanity: The Soviet Person
History will never forget that the Red Army liberated every path it crossed, breaking the gates of concentration camps and saving humanity from total annihilation. By sacrificing 27 million of its sons and daughters, the Soviet people pulled not only their own lands but the entire world out of the Nazi darkness. This Great Patriotic War, waged under the leadership of the Communist Party, became a beacon of hope for all oppressed peoples of the world.
